FinXP has launched a new website alongside refreshed market positioning that better reflects how the business has evolved in recent years.
For much of our history, FinXP has primarily been known as a payment processor and a provider of corporate payment accounts. Those services remain an important part of what we do, but they no longer tell the full story.
Today, FinXP provides a broader range of payments infrastructure services, including Banking-as-a-Service, card issuing, and BIN sponsorship.
Our new positioning is designed to make that evolution clearer.
One EMI licence. Independent. Direct SEPA access. Built to say yes.
Each part of the tagline reflects something we believe matters to the businesses we work with.
More than payment processing
Over the years, FinXP has steadily expanded the infrastructure and capabilities behind its offering.
We now support fintechs, financial businesses and online platforms with services that go beyond traditional payment processing, including embedded payment infrastructure, issuing capabilities, and direct access to European payment rails.
Marc Conway, our Chief Commercial and Product Officer at FinXP, explains:
“FinXP has built a lot more capability over the years than people necessarily associate us with. We wanted the new positioning and website to make this evolution much clearer.
“We have our own EMI licence, direct access to SEPA through CENTROlink, and we have the flexibility that comes from being independently owned. Just as importantly, we’re prepared to take the time to understand businesses that may not fit neatly into the criteria of more traditional banking partners.”
Why independence matters
FinXP was founded in 2014 and remains owned by its founders, without external investors.
That independence gives our management team greater control over how the business develops, the infrastructure we invest in, and the types of companies we are prepared to onboard.
It also means that strategic decisions can be made within FinXP rather than being driven by the priorities or risk policies of a parent group or external investor.
For clients, that can translate into a more direct and flexible relationship with the people responsible for the service they use.
Direct access to SEPA
Another important part of the positioning is FinXP’s direct access to SEPA through CENTROlink.
This means our SEPA payments do not need to pass through an intermediary sponsor bank before reaching the wider payment network.
Direct access gives FinXP greater control over payment processing and pricing, as well as better visibility when tracking payment status.
Behind that infrastructure, client funds continue to be safeguarded in line with the regulatory requirements that apply to FinXP as a regulated financial institution.
What does “Built to say yes” mean?
Perhaps the most human part of the new positioning is the final line: Built to say yes.
It does not mean saying yes to every business.
It means being willing to properly understand a company before making a decision.
Many businesses operate in sectors, markets or business models that do not always fit neatly into the standard risk criteria used by more traditional financial institutions. In those situations, our approach is to look more closely at how the business works, how money moves through it and what the underlying risks actually are.
Applications are reviewed by people rather than relying solely on automated onboarding rules.
That gives our teams the ability to assess each business on its own merits, while still operating within the compliance, governance and regulatory standards expected of a regulated financial institution.
A website that better reflects FinXP today
The new FinXP website has been redesigned around this broader proposition.
It provides more detail on our products, infrastructure and use cases, together with additional client case studies and educational guides.
The aim is simple: to give visitors a much clearer picture of what FinXP does, how our infrastructure works, and where we may be able to help.
Our business has evolved considerably since FinXP was founded more than a decade ago. The new website and positioning are intended to make that evolution easier to see.
