Junior Software Developer
We are looking for a motivated Software Developer with experience in Go (Golang) to join our ICT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs that support business-critical applications.
Reporting to the Development Lead, the post holder will collaborate closely with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other developers to build reliable, high-performance solutions while contributing to engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Go (Golang).
Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
Develop reliable, scalable, and high-performance applications.
Integrate with third-party services, APIs, and relational databases.
Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code.
Perform code reviews and contribute to software engineering best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective, long-term solutions.
Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and fellow developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience developing applications using Go (Golang).
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and common design patterns.
Experience building REST APIs and backend services.
Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Experience using Git and collaborative development workflows.
Understanding of concurrency concepts, including goroutines and channels.
Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with microservice architectures.
Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
Familiarity with message brokers such as NATS.
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools, including OpenTelemetry.
